The Agency for Dog People

Miami luxury real estate for people who want their dogs considered from the first conversation.

When I get to know you, I want to know about everyone who will live in your new home. If that includes a dog, tell me about them. How do you spend your days together? What makes life easy for them? What would make a move difficult?

A beautiful view or an extraordinary kitchen may draw you to a property. Your dog has to live there, too. At The MJR Groupe, we take both parts of that decision seriously.

Finding a home that works for all of you

When we look at a house or condo, I’ll want to understand your dog’s needs as well as your own. That can mean looking closely at:

Building rules. If you’re considering a condo or a managed community, we’ll ask about its current dog policies, including any size or number limits and rules for shared spaces.

The everyday trip outside. Elevators, outdoor access and places to walk can shape your routine far more than a pet amenity shown in a listing.

The home itself. A secure outdoor area, stairs, floor surfaces and comfortable places to rest may matter differently depending on your dog.

What comes next. An older dog, a second home or a move to a new city can change what you need from a property.

Some dogs would be happiest with a yard. Others do beautifully in a condo. The point is to find out what works for your dog before you commit to a home. You won’t have to convince me that these details count.

Meet Remy

Remy came into my life through Bullies-N-Beyond Rescue in 2015. He has been a huge part of my life ever since, and living with him has made me pay closer attention to the small things that shape a dog’s day at home.

He’s also part of the relationships I build through my work. Each year, our Pampered Paws gathering brings clients, friends and their dogs together. In Reflections from Remy, I write about life with dogs, from helping them settle into a new or second home to making a home more comfortable as they grow older.

Questions dog owners ask me

Can you help me find a dog-friendly condo in Miami?

Yes. Tell me about your dog before we start looking seriously at buildings. We’ll ask for the current written pet rules, including any limits on the number or size of dogs, and consider what the trip from your door to outdoors would be like each day.

What should I tell you about my dog before we begin?

Tell me how many dogs you have, their ages and sizes, and what their usual day looks like. If stairs are becoming difficult, you’re hoping to add another dog, or there’s something else your dog needs at home, I want to know early. It can change which properties make sense to see.

What if I’m buying a second home?

We can consider how the home will work for your dog when you arrive and while you’re there. Outdoor access and space for familiar beds, bowls and routines may matter as much in a second home.

Tell me about your dog

If you’re looking for a home in Miami, I’d love to hear about the life you want to have there and the dog who will share it with you.

Sharing the Important Life Lessons Remy Has Taught Me

Sharing the Important Life Lessons Remy Has Taught Me

In May 2015, a gas station owner found Remy tied up at his station and called Maria Gaspari at Bullies-N-Beyond Rescue. She took him in, sharing his adorable picture with a friend, who sent it to me. Remy was absolutely captivating, so it’s no surprise many people wanted to adopt him. Multiple potential dog moms applied to give Remy, originally named Olef, a forever home. Maria, a woman with a heart of gold, chose me as Remy’s mom. And the rest, as they say, is history. The bond I have with Remy was clear from the beginning.
Remy has taught me so many valuable lessons since coming into my life in May 2015. These are some of the most impactful.
