If there’s one thing I believe deeply, it’s that growth is a lifelong gift — not just for us, but for our dogs too.
When I first brought Remy home, I didn’t just imagine long walks and cozy evenings on the sofa (though we absolutely adore those). I imagined the adventures we’d have together: the places we’d go, the little milestones we’d celebrate, and how we’d explore the world side by side.

That’s why I love the idea of training as a summer activity. It doesn’t have to be about strict obedience, it can simply be a playful way to connect, learn, and share new experiences. Maybe it’s trying a new trick, practicing calm leash walks through a bustling neighborhood, or weaving around art installations on an early morning stroll.
These moments aren’t about perfection. They’re about the joy of discovering something new together and adding another layer to your bond. It’s an opportunity to deepen trust, build resilience, and give your dog the confidence to be your partner in every chapter of your life.

Training is also a mirror for us. It teaches patience, presence, and the power of quiet consistency. As we guide our dogs, we inevitably learn more about ourselves: how we handle challenges, how we communicate, and how we celebrate progress, no matter how small.
This summer, consider exploring a new skill or activity with your dog just for the fun of it. You might be surprised by the adventures and memories waiting on the other side. When we invest in our dogs’ growth, we’re really investing in the shared future we dream of with them — the luxurious life that feels beautiful, effortless, and deeply connected.

I’d love to hear what you and your dog are exploring next. Perhaps we’ll swap stories (or training tips) the next time we cross paths.
